FUTURE MY LOVE will play at the Ambulante festival which is touring Mexico from 8 February to 9 May 2013. As 'Futuro Mi Amor', it will screen in the 'Observatorio' section which presents work that advances documentary language and diverse aesthetic expression.
Following festivals in Edinburgh, Copenhagen, Tallinn, and Göteborg, this will also be the first time we're showing FUTURE MY LOVE outside Europe.
Ambulante is a non-profit organization focused on supporting and promoting documentary films as a tool for social and cultural transformation. Their vision is to "use documentary as a starting point to generate an approach to various realities, giving tools for their transformation and contribute building a participatory society, critical and informed." Sounds like a great match!
The Ambulante Documentary Tour will travel to eleven states: Distrito Federal (8 to 21 February - our dates here), Guerrero (22 to 28 February), Puebla (1 to 7 March), Veracruz (8 to 14 March), Baja California (15 to 21 March), Nuevo León (29 March to 4 April), Coahuila (5 to 11 April), Jalisco (12 to 18 April), Michoacán (19 to 25 April), Chiapas (26 April to 2 May), and Oaxaca (3 to 9 May).
We'll share the exact screening dates and cities as soon as we have them.
